Glass Crashing Wave

Fused glass sculpture of an ocean wave made with individually cut & chipped glass in a variety of blues, greens, and clear, placed to resemble a wave, then soft contour fused to retain texture. Once fused, it is formed over a semi-circle form to look like a crashing wave.  These are often assumed to be blown glass, but fusing allows more retention of texture and shape.  This fusing method creates the gorgeous sculpture of a crashing ocean wave.  Each are very similar, but always one-of-a-kind. 

LARGE ~ 15" long before shaped, 5" wide, about 5" tall in center after formed

MEDIUM ~ 12" long before shaped, 4" wide

SMALL ~ 9" long before shaped, 3" wide
